AFU is proud to offer a free in-house program called the Jr. Referee Program.

Atlanta Fire Junior Referee Program.
Minimum age: 10 and older
Who can be a referee: Anyone – Coaches, Players, Sisters, Brothers, Dad, Mom, Aunts, Uncles.
You are all invited to sign up and become a “Junior referee training.”
Two date options:
Location: George Pierce Park Soccer fields - Pavilion next to concession building
Training Date: Aug 17,2024 Class Times 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Or
Training Date: Aug 24,2024 Class Times 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Referee on field Scrimmage assesment is on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024 (2pm - 6pm)
Note: Bring lots of water and a few snacks to eat.

Junior Referees Centers earn from $16 - $23 per game
Junior Referees Assistants earn from $15 - $18 per game Small Sided Rec game Times:
Earnings based on age of the Teams playing 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on a Saturday
They need to work a minimum of 4 hours per shift 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm on a Sunday
