Atlanta Fire United SA will be hosting it’s Academy Pre-Tryout Camp on May 20th, 22nd and 24th at Scott Hudgens Park. All Academy players are welcome to attend. If you are not a current 2012-13 AFU Academy player/family, you must complete the following online registration via the link below. IMPORTANT: Wednesday, May 22nd Camp to resume back on originally scheduled fields at Scott Hudgens:

Online registration for the 2013 Atlanta Fire United SA Fall Recreational Soccer Season will open on June 1st, 2013. We are taking pre-registration info at this time. Please complete the online form via the link below. We will send out an email blast to all pre-registered famalies notifying them of online registration as soon as it open to the public. In addition to email, you can also submit your cell phone info to receive a text alert(s) as this process is released and walk-up registration date reminders.

The dates for the 2013 Atlanta Fire United SA Recreational Summer Soccer Camps have been announced. For 2013, AFUSA will offer two camp session weeks of June 3rd-7th and June 10th-14th. Online and mail-in registration are now available. Atlanta Fire United SA would like to congratulate the U12-Girls Gold coached by Campbell Walker for winning Gold in the recent 2013 Academy Cup 8v8 Leroux division. The girls won all four games by a combined scored of 14-2. Great job girls!!!!

Congratulations to Diego Manrique, Chris Mikus, and Ernando Manrique who were chosen by GA Soccer to participate in a unique athletic and cultural exchange program in Lisbon, Portugal with a group of GA ODP All Stars. Chris plays on the 97 ODP team, while Diego and Ernando play on the 98 ODP team. The boys also play on their respective Regional ODP teams.

Atlanta Fire United SA would like to congratulate the following players recently selected to attend the United States Market Training Center this past Monday, April 15th. U.S. Soccer Training Centers are designed to replicate national team training camps and are used in further identifying the top level talent that the United States has to offer.

The U13 Gold-West team came in second at the Vulcan Cup in Birmingham, AL held March 9-10th. The team beat a strong Knoxville Crush team in the Semi-finals and met a familiar foe, Norcross' top team, in the finals. The girls fought hard and played exceptionally well for 60 minutes, taking the match into overtime. However, in the first 3 minutes of OT, Norcross was awarded a penalty kick that would prove to be the game deciding goal. A team that had struggled finishing last season was able to find the back of the net 4 times in the weekend, and proved they can and will play up to their competition. Great work ladies!
